Tuition and fees for the current academic year can be found at the University of Kentucky Student Account Services – the Patterson School is part of the Master or Graduate Certificate, Professional. Updated tuition and fees for the next academic year are typically posted in the summer.

Cost is an important factor to weigh as you decide where to pursue your graduate education. Paying for just three semesters of study instead of four, and not having to register for credit for a summer internship can make a significant price difference in total cost of our degree. Even with no financial support, total tuition and fees for all three required semesters of study at the Patterson School are only about $22,000 for students who qualify for in-state tuition. Furthermore, the ancillary costs of 18 months in Lexington (cost of living index: 92) is considerably lower than 24 months in the cities that host these competing programs. Additionally, students within the Academic Common Market (including Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia) may qualify for in-state tuition while attending the Patterson School. Please note that this benefit requires that students apply to their state Academic Common Market coordinator.

The total student loan debt incurred by the most recent group of Patterson School graduates surveyed for their masters degree study averaged just $14,000. This gives Patterson graduates the freedom to pursue whatever career they choose, without the crushing burden of long-term debt.
