Mike Matson is a Supervisory Intelligence Analyst in the FBI’s Louisville Division. He is an 18 year veteran

of the FBI, serving as an intelligence analyst in FBI Headquarters, its Washington Field Office, and for the

last ten years has served in the Louisville Division. He worked counterterrorism and WMD matters

before arriving in Louisville. As SIA in Louisville he oversees intelligence production for all investigative

programs. He has a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from American University, and a Master’s

in Strategic Intelligence from the National Intelligence University at DIA. He is an FBI certified

Intelligence Officer and an award recipient as part of Louisville’s 2013 Director’s Award for Excellence

for Outstanding Counterterrorism Investigation. He is happily married to a fellow FBI Louisville

intelligence analyst, who is a Patterson graduate, and has two children.
