Cassidy Pearson

Cassidy Pearson graduated from the Patterson School in 2015. While at Patterson, she received a NSEP Boren Fellowship in the Russian Far East. After graduation, she joined the Customs and Border Protection Office of Accountability. While there, she inspected CPB facilities to see if they were compliant with internal policy. She says that "My Patterson experience in creating executive summaries and practicing briefing, helped prepare me being a new employee informing the top management that their employees weren’t fully compliant."

In 2019, she helped create a new office with the CBP called the Juvenile Coordinator's Office. This office helps the court appointed Juvenile Coordinator inspect facilities along the Southwest Border and report back to both CBP headquarters and the US District Court concerning Flores v. Reno requirements. Cassidy's briefs in this role have been used in multiple court decisions.
