Meet Larissa Caton, 2016 Alum
Larissa Caton currently works in Frankfurt, Germany for the Department of State as a Diplomatic Courier in the Diplomatic Security Service. In this role, Ms. Caton is responsible for safely and securely transporting critical diplomatic material across international borders between USG installations. Prior to joining the Department of State in summer 2022, Ms. Caton worked with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) as a Program Manager for several national security systems.
In addition to being a Program Manager, Larissa was also with DCSA (formerly the Defense Security Service) as an Industrial Security Representative overseeing cleared industry’s compliance with the National Industrial Security Program. In 2020, Ms. Caton was called to serve as an industrial security SME with Operation Warp Speed, the federal COVID-19 vaccine development, response and distribution task force, tasked with overseeing the security programs of the world's vaccine developers, manufacturers and distributors based in the United States.
Larissa received her master’s in intelligence and national security from the Patterson School of Diplomacy in 2016, with an undergraduate degree in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Kentucky in 2015. Ms. Caton grew up in Denver, CO, and enjoys spending time with her two cats, reading, and eating fancy food.
