Dr. Max Vila Seoane, Researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) of Argentina and Professor at the School of Politics & Government of the National University of San Martín (UNSAM), together with Dr. Daniel Blinder, Researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) of Argentina and Professor at the National University of José Clemente Paz, Argentina, will give a talk on nuclear cooperation between Argentina and China and its implications for techno-politics and geopolitics in South America.

 

Dr. Max Vila Seoane is a postdoctoral researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET), Argentina, and a Professor at the School of Politics & Government of the National University of San Martín (UNSAM), where he teaches graduate and postgraduate courses on international relations, techno-politics and international communication. He has published articles in Spanish and English in prestigious journals, such as Information Communication and Society, Chinese Journal of Communication, Bulletin of Latin American Research, Third World Quarterly, etc., and book chapters from Routledge Publishing. Currently, Dr. Vila Seoane investigates how the intensifying rivalry between the US and China is transforming techno-politics in South America.

Dr. Daniel Blinder is a Researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) of Argentina, and Professor at the National University of José Clemente Paz, Argentina. He is specializing in International Relations, Geopolitics of technology, Space Policy, and National Defense.
